I Like It Here
I live in a town approximately ninety minutes East of Vancouver. I have lived here for more than fifty years. Development choices (see Agricultural Land Reserve) that have been made allow for our farmers to continue to flourish. Which makes for long site lines as you navigate the area. Which shows off the mountain views on a clear day. Many roads have fresh produce for sale direct from farmers in season. If we want to head to the interior of British Columbia (after the pandemic) we don't have to battle traffic from the Western Fraser Valley, we just head up the Coquihalla Highway; which was built in time for Vancouver’s Expo 86. And speaking of, if we want to partake of what the city of Vancouver (rated among the best cities in the world) has to offer it's not that far away. The development of local recreation areas is also excellent. I can walk or ride a bike into a local forest minutes away. There are numerous hiking trails maintained by our City. I've been here since I was 10 years old, I think I might stay.
